Biography:
Farmer Thanos is an alternate version of the Marvel supervillain Thanos, appearing most notably in the films Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. He is not a traditional farmer by trade, but rather takes on a peaceful, agrarian lifestyle after achieving his goal of eliminating half of all life in the universe.
Following the execution of the Infinity Gauntlet's snap, a weakened and content Thanos retreats to an uninhabited planet. He builds a simple dwelling and spends his days tending a small garden, seemingly finding solace in his self-imposed retirement. This version of Thanos represents a twisted fulfillment of his twisted ambitions - a universe he sees as balanced and at peace, though achieved through horrific means.
His idyllic existence is short-lived, however. The Avengers, seeking to undo his actions, locate him. During an encounter, Thanos reveals he destroyed the Infinity Stones, precluding any reversal of his actions. He is subsequently killed by Thor, marking the end of the "Farmer Thanos" persona and setting the stage for the Avengers' time travel mission.
